
Sarah Crane is a director, choreographer, performer, and teaching artist originally from Miami, FL and now based in New York City. She is a Carbonell Award nominee for choreography for Jersey Boys. Her choreography was recently featured on Netflix’s Star Search reboot.
Recent directing and choreographing credits include Tick, Tick…BOOM!(Director) in Peru, Jersey Boys (Associate Director/Choreographer) at Actors’ Playhouse, Legally Blonde(Director/Choreographer) at Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Newsies (Choreographer) at Mayo Performing Arts Center, and Legally Blonde (Associate Director/Choreographer) at Actors’ Playhouse.
Sarah served as Dance Consultant for the First National Tour of Mean Girls, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw. As a performer, she appeared on the First National Tours of Mean Girls (Dawn Schweitzer, u/s Janis) and The Prom (Ensemble, u/s Shelby).

n addition to her theatrical work, Sarah is a passionate educator. She teaches regularly in the New York area at Broadway Dance Center, Marymount Manhattan College, and National Dance Institute, and has also taught at Boston Conservatory and Interlochen. She takes pride in cultivating supportive, empowering classroom environments that encourage students to grow both artistically and personally.
